Cappadocia
Cappadocia is located in central Turkey in an area that was formerly high in volcanic activity. Thousands of years of wind and water erosion over volcanic ash and lava deposits created the incredibly unique landscape.
We stayed in Kayakapi in Urgup while there. Our hotel was actually a series of caves that were converted into a hotel, and it is part of a UNESCO heritage site.
